There’s a long, scaly reptile found throughout Pisgah National Forest that old-timers used to refer to as the“Pilot Snake." Meet at the amphitheater to see a live Pilot Snake and learn about the interesting stories that have arisen concerning this slithery inhabitant of our mountain woodlands.
